A small-capacity 250 cc air-cooled parallel twin from Kawasaki's late-1970s range, aimed at first-time and budget riders. It has a five-speed gearbox, drum brakes at both ends and a low seat height. The period road test says the engine was based on the KL250 trail bike unit, with larger valves and points ignition.
